Position Highlights:

  • Collegial multispecialty group practice with a large referral base.
  • Focus on team-based care.

  • Adult and pediatric patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain detailed history and develop patient care charts; perform physical examinations and evaluations on assigned patients; assess and treat medical problems and provide direct patient care to a specified patient population.
  • Assist with new consultations and revisits.
  • Notify supervising physician regarding any unusual or unexpected events or problems requiring direct physician consultation.
  • Practice safety, environmental, and infection control methods.
  • Supervise and/or coordinate the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic.
  • Write progress notes on patients' charts indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed; maintain other records as required.
  • Consult with patient’s primary care physician and other specialists as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in nursing with advanced skills in physical assessment. Licensed to practice in NY.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse in NY.
  • State and federal Controlled Substance Registration.
  • At least one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable role.

New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $109,513 to $160,000 per year. Compensation is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group complies with all applicable minimum wage laws. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive package, incentives, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
