Advanced Practice Provider - Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (Hauppauge)

ENT and Allergy Associates, the largest ENT and Allergy practice in the US, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Hauppauge location.

Position Overview

Provide comprehensive patient care in Otolaryngology, collaborating with a team of specialists to diagnose, treat, and manage ear, nose, and throat conditions, ensuring compassionate and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessment: Conduct detailed histories and physical exams, evaluate ENT disorders, and identify clinical findings.
2. Diagnosis & Treatment Planning: Order tests, educate patients, monitor treatment efficacy, and prescribe within scope.
3. Procedures: Perform procedures like sutures, nasal cauterization, biopsies, cerumen removal, nasal endoscopies, following proper training.
4. Surgical Assistance: Manage post-op care and wound management for ENT surgeries.
5. Patient Education: Explain conditions, treatments, and preventive measures to patients and families.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records in EMR complying with HIPAA and policies.
7. Collaboration & Compliance: Work with healthcare team, adhere to regulations, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active PA or NP license in NY.
• Certification by NCCPA, AANPCB, or ANCC.
• Membership in AAPA or AANP.
• CPR and BLS certified.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational skills, and bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience in ENT or office setting is a plus.
