Job summary

Freeman Health System in the region seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join Freeman Neosho Hospital in a full-time day schedule. You will provide basic patient care under supervision, assist physicians, and help coordinate care for clinic patients.

Responsibilities include serving as a liaison among patients, staff and physicians, ensuring smooth clinical operations and adherence to established standards and practices. AHA BLS completion and Missouri or compact-state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.
• Annual Clinic Competency Assessment by transcript due date.
• Current Practical Nurse license (Missouri or compact state) required.

What You’ll Do

• Under the direction of a professional RN or supervising Physician, provides basic patient care to clinic patients following established standards and practices.
• Assists physician and staff in coordinating patient care.
• Functions as liaison between patients, staff and physician.

Requirements

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• Clinic Competency Assessment annually by transcript due date.
• Current Missouri Practical Nurse license or current Practical Nurse license from a compact state.
• If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
