Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible, required.
• MSN, required
• Current Virginia state certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, required
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients and families about diagnosis, testing, and risk of procedures.
• Perform comprehensive health assessments for diagnosing and treating individuals.
• Develop treatment plans including diagnostics, non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventions.
• Provide patient and family education; make referrals to other professionals.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies; manage plans under physician guidance.
