Job summary

Cedar House Life Change Center is seeking a physician to provide healthcare services for detox and residential/outpatient clients, under physician supervision. The role includes conducting physicals, treatment, and counseling, with potential prescription responsibilities.

You will lead a medical team, participate in bi-weekly Treatment Team meetings, and help draft hospital policies while ensuring compliance with state mandates and medical standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of practice in clinical and/or residential settings (preferred).
• Experience in the treatment of SUD is highly desirable.
• Completed twelve years of education or GED; CEU trainings as required; CPR/First Aid/AED maintained; SAM.gov attestation.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services typically performed by a physician under supervision.
• Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment and counsel clients.
• May prescribe medication in some cases.
• Oversee Detox patients and conduct intakes, physicals, and step-down medications.
• Daily rounds with detox clients and medical necessity determinations.
• Sign treatment plans within 24 hours.
