Job summary

Social Science Services Inc. dba Cedar House Life Change Center in Bloomington, CA, seeks a licensed physician to oversee detox and provide medical care for residential and outpatient clients under physician supervision.

You will lead the medical team, conduct intakes and physicals, manage treatment plans, and ensure compliance with DHCS and Medi-Cal requirements while delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• 5 years of practice in clinical and/or residential settings.
• Experience in treatment of SUD is highly desirable.
• Completed education and ongoing trainings as required by Cedar House and state mandates.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certification and SAM.Gov registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services under physician supervision and conduct physicals.
• Oversee Detox patients and conduct daily intakes and rounds.
• Sign treatment plans within 24 hours and manage medication prescriptions as needed.
• Lead medical team on duty and train staff quarterly as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and county requirements and trauma-informed care.
