Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to assess and manage diverse patient populations across ambulatory and inpatient settings. The NP will provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, develop comprehensive care plans, and conduct ongoing evaluations.

The role may include precepting a small group of learners. Required: Master’s in Nursing and an APRN-NP license, with at least 2 years of NP experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• APRN-NP state license required.
• 2 years of licensed NP experience (1-2 years preferred).
• Skills: taking medical histories, emergency response, accurate documentation, clear communication, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, counseling, and education to designated patient populations.
• Perform complete histories and physical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement plans of care and follow-up.
• Order medications and write prescriptions as per policy.
• Document admissions, progress notes, procedures, and discharge summaries.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate for the patient population.
