Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s site in the Assembly Row district of Somerville is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide patient-centered care within an adult primary care setting. The NP will assess and manage diverse patient populations, develop care plans, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

The role requires a Master's in Nursing and a MA APRN license, with 2+ years of NP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required; experience cannot substitute.
• Licensed NP in Massachusetts (APRN) required.
• 2 years of licensed NP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, counseling, and education to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on findings.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational policies.
• Documents admissions, progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to patient population.
