Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide care across NICU, SCN, and delivery-room settings. The NP will assess, diagnose, and manage medical and surgical patients, develop plans of care, and precept a small group of learners as needed.

The role requires an NP with a Master's in Nursing and MA licensure, with 2 years of licensed NP experience. Onsite work at Mass General Brigham facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of licensed Nurse Practitioner experience required.
• Experience cannot substitute for education (No).
• MA NP licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching across settings.
• Performs histories and physical examinations.
• Orders tests and interprets results.
• Develops care plans with follow-up.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions.
• Maintains timely patient documentation.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate.
