The Wilkes-Barre VA Healthcare System’s Compensation and Pension program seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to review medical evidence from VA records, private records, service treatment records, and other evidence for veteran evaluations.

The NP will conduct histories and physicals, complete the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) for VBA adjudication, and manage the full spectrum of clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• CRNP license in a US state or territory.
• Experience reviewing VA/private records and compiling DBQs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and supervise nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate age-specific care.
• Review claim evidence and complete the Disability Benefits Questionnaire for VBA adjudication.
• Utilize EMR for documentation, orders, and consultations.
