The Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine at University of Cincinnati Physicians is seeking a nurse practitioner specializing in evaluation and treatment of movement disorders to see patients in our outpatient clinics located in Clifton and West Chester. The nurse practitioner will be trained as needed to develop expertise in the field of movement disorders neurology and will see follow-up patients with diagnoses including Parkinson’s disease and parkinsonism’s, essential tremor, Huntington’s disease and others. The nurse practitioner will also be trained to program patients with deep brain stimulators. The nurse practitioner’s practice is intended to provide a collaborative experience for the patient along with the attending physician in alternating appointments, and to be available for urgent patient needs. Weekend and Overnight coverage is not required.
Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
