Job summary

Penn State Health Medical Group LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to function as a key member of a multidisciplinary team providing total primary care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals.

The successful candidate will follow established nursing standards and procedures and guide nursing staff in delivering patient care, with a day shift, full-time schedule in Harrisburg, PA.

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of a multidisciplinary heath care team to provide total primary care of patients in collaboration with the physician and other health care providers. Follows established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
  • Master's degree in Nursing required
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

  • Certification in area of specialty preferred
