Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a highly engaged, mission-driven team in a clinic or hospital setting. You will work with physicians who mentor, support professional development, and emphasize team-based learning to deliver comprehensive patient care.

You will obtain medical histories, perform exams, order labs, educate patients, and coordinate care across teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner master's program.
• Current state licensure and NCCPA/ANCC/AANP certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS if required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete medical histories and physical data on patients.
• Perform physical examinations and document findings; collaborate with physicians.
• Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
• Educate patients regarding health, prevention, and resources.
• Coordinate care and follow-up; manage urgent situations as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and referrals.
