Powers Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiothoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery in Munster, IN and Hobart, IN. Hours: 80 per pay period, FTE: 1. Must have First Assist Certification.

Requires MSN, Indiana RN license, prescriptive authorities, and board certification for hospital privileges. Position supports perioperative care across two campuses. Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; Masters of Nursing degree required
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana
• Prescriptive authority privileges in State of Indiana
• Board Certification is required to be granted necessary hospital privileges for employment
• CPR certification required

• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills; ability to analyze and creatively solve patient care issues in a proactive and positive manner; ability to apply and modify principles, methods, and techniques to provide ongoing patient care
