Job summary

Bay Area Heart in Webster, TX is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for a clinic-based cardiology role with on-site physician support.

The ideal candidate will hold an Active Texas NP license with DEA, preferably cardiology experience; new grads with 1 year cardiology nursing experience will be considered. On-site schedule is Mon-Fri, with some evenings for supervised stress tests.

Qualifications

• Active Texas NP license and DEA required.
• Cardiology experience preferred; new grads with 1 year cardiology nursing experience will be considered.
• eClinicalWorks experience helpful but not required.
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance to Webster, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as a Nurse Practitioner in a cardiology clinic.
• Assist and supervise stress tests during evening coverage (shared with NP team).
• Collaborate with physicians and cardiologists; work with on-site physician support.
• Clinic-based role with office hours and satellite clinic coverage within 10 miles.

Bay Area Heart, a Qoros Health care center located in Webster, Texas, is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team of 10 providers including 5 MDs (soon to be 7 MDs) and 5 NPs. This is a clinic-based role with the support of a physician on-site at all times.

QUICK GLANCE SUMMARY:

• Office location: Webster, Texas (plus possible coverage at nearby satellite clinics within 10 - mile radius)
• No weekends!
• No on-call requirements!
• Primary work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with shared evening coverage to 7:00 p.m. to supervise stress tests (shared with NP team members)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner medical license & DEA
• Cardiology experience preferred
• New grads with a minimum 1 - year Cardiology Nursing experience will be considered
• eClinicalWorks experience helpful, but not a requirement
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance to Webster, TX area
