Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to support its cardiology team in Chicago, IL. The NP will provide outpatient and limited inpatient care with board-certified cardiologists in a high-acuity cardiac setting.

The role requires an Illinois NP license with AGACNP or FNP certification (cardiology preferred) and ACLS/BLS. Expect a daytime schedule with strong support staff and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with cardiology experience
• At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
• ACLS and BLS certification required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
