Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to support our cardiology team in Chicago, IL. The NP will provide outpatient and limited inpatient care, perform cardiac evaluations, and manage chronic cardiovascular conditions under cardiology supervision.

Required: IL NP license, AGACNP or FNP with cardiology experience, ACLS/BLS, and 1 year in cardiology/internal medicine. Competitive pay, daytime schedule, and strong support staff.

This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac care setting alongside board-certified cardiologists, providing outpatient and limited inpatient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and cardiac evaluations

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois
• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with cardiology experience
• At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or internal medicine preferred
• ACLS and BLS certification required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
