Qualifications

• Graduate or higher nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current, active state nursing license.
• APN positions require licensure in the clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic info to develop diagnoses.
• Develop treatment plans based on standards of care.
• Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, and injuries.
• Prescribe medications with appropriate efficacy, safety, dosage and frequencies.
