BrightView, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient addiction treatment team in Virginia Beach. You will collaborate with a licensed physician to implement individualized treatment plans and educate patients about their medical components of care.

Responsibilities include mentoring medical staff, participating in trainings, providing emergency input, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Active state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP).
• 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred, with at least 1 year in addiction treatment setting preferred.
• D.E.A licensure as required by BrightView.

Mansioni

• Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects relevant to the patient’s treatment.
• Participate in trainings as required by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present training content for education on medical topics related to substance use disorders and general health.
• Perform medical services within the scope of education and expertise.
• Ensure implementation of medical quality health standards for patients and employees.
• Provide medical input into overall program philosophy, treatment services, and patient care.
• Provide a response to emergency care providers when consultation is required for a patient.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinics, or hospitals involved in patient care.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and outside seminars.
• Maintain understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and stay updated on treatment information.
• Develop professional relationships with patients and team members.
• Ensure treatment center meets accreditation standards related to medical, health, and safety.

Conoscenze
