Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient addiction treatment team. You will provide medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician, implement treatment plans, and inform patients about medical components of care.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships and maintaining high standards across clinical activities. You will mentor staff, develop medical trainings on substance use disorders, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with other physicians

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in nursing or related field.
• Active state licensure as FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred, at least 1 year in addiction treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician.
• Implement treatment plans with supervising physician and explain medical components to patients.
• Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical topics related to patient care.
• Develop and present training content on medical topics relevant to substance use disorders and general health.
• Ensure adherence to medical quality health standards for patients and staff.
• Provide medical input into overall program philosophy, services, and patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and consult with other care providers as needed.
• Collaborate with other physicians, clinics, or hospitals involved in patient care.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and external trainings.
• Maintain current knowledge on drug abuse and treatment and build strong professional relationships.
• Ensure accreditation standards related to medical, health, and safety issues are met.
