Job summary

BrightView, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician within our outpatient treatment program offering Medically Assisted Treatment and clinical services.

You will implement treatment plans, inform patients about medical components of their care, and work within an integrated care team to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to individuals seeking recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent required
• Active state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP) required
• 3–5 years experience preferred, with at least 1 year in addiction treatment setting
• DEA licensure as required by BrightView

Responsibilities

• Mentor and conduct professional development activities in medical subjects relevant to the patient’s treatment.
• Participate in trainings required by federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present training content for education on medical topics related to substance use disorders and general health practices.
• Perform medical services within the scope of education, training, and expertise.
• Ensure implementation of medical quality health standards for patients and employees.
• Provide medical input into overall program philosophy, treatment services, and patient care.
• Provide a response to emergency care providers when they require consultation for one of the program patients.
• Collaborate with other physicians, clinics or hospitals participating in patient treatment.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and outside seminars and training.
• Maintain understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and current treatment information.
• Develop professional relationships with patients, team members, and constituents.
• Ensure treatment center meets accreditation standards related to medical, health, and safety issues.

Education

Master’s degree or equivalent

Active state licensure (FNP/APRN/CNP/PMHNP)

3 to 5 years’ experience preferred, with at least 1 year of experience in addiction treatment setting preferred

D.E.A licensure as required by BrightView
