Job summary

Unify Health Services, LLC in York, PA is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to deliver onsite healthcare to industrial employees. The role covers acute care, preventive services, physical exams, wellness coaching, and occupational health support in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The ideal candidate is independent, adaptable, and committed to patient education. You will work with a dedicated MA, support safety teams, and collaborate with nursing, HR, and onsite

Qualifications

• Licensed PA or NP with current Osteopathic Board of Medicine or equivalent credentials.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong documentation, communication, and EMR skills.
• Ability to work independently with support from MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite evaluation and treatment of injuries, illnesses, and primary care concerns.
• Perform medical histories, physical exams, and order or interpret diagnostic testing.
• Conduct annual physicals, biometric screenings, post-offer evaluations, audiograms, TB tests, and respirator fit testing.
• Document all patient encounters in the EMR and communicate with safety teams as needed.
• Provide employee education, wellness coaching, and support onsite health events.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and chronic condition management within scope.
• Support daily clinic operations including workflow, inventory, and compliance.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, EMS, HR, safety teams, and onsite leadership.
• Provide occasional coverage at alternate clinic locations.

Position Title: Industrial Medical Provider – Advanced (PA/NP)

Location: York, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
Shift: Monday - Friday (M5a-2:30, T8:30a-6p, W5am-2:30p, Th8:30a-6p, F8:30a-12:30p)

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant with Osteopathic Board of Medicine or Nurse Practitioner.
• Active CPR / BLS
• Strong documentation, communication, and EMR skills.
• Ability to work independently and with support assistant. (Dedicated MA for assistance and support.)

Preferred Skills

• Venipuncture, IM/SQ vaccinations, wound care, suturing/stapling, splinting.
• Ability to interpret EKGs, mobile X-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
• Comfortably providing education or group presentations on wellness and safety topics.
• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice preferred.
• Understanding of OSHA standards, workers’ compensation processes, and occupational health guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, sitting, and computer-based tasks.
• Occasional lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Onsite clinic located within an industrial workplace.
• Use of PPE (such as steel-toe boots, safety glasses, or hearing protection) may be required
