Job summary

One to One Health in Watertown, SD is seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant to join our health care team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervising physician, evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans with evidence-based protocols.

This full-time role emphasizes patient-first care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and outreach through wellness screenings and preventive programs.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant with active license.
  • 1 year experience in family medicine, internal medicine or urgent care.
  • DEA license preferred.
  • BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-employment physicals.
  • Conduct annual wellness exams.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions per protocols.
  • Create and implement treatment plans under physician supervision.
  • Provide health screenings and disease prevention.
  • Evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses.
  • Report cases with medical director and clients.
  • Oversee respirator and hearing tests.
  • Provide age-appropriate assessments.
  • Educate patients and coach on health.
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor intervention effectiveness.
  • Refer to multidisciplinary team as needed.
  • Enter data into EMR accurately.
  • Assist in all clinic areas.

Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will be an integral part of the clinic's success. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating, managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the supervising physician. Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-employment and annual wellness physicals
  • Manage acute and chronic health problems using evidence-based protocols creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under supervising physicians’ protocols
  • Provide health screenings and other disease prevention programs
  • Evaluation and treatment of patients for injury and illness
  • Report and review cases with the medical director and client managers
  • Oversee respirator and auditory testing for employees by clinic staff
  • Provide age-appropriate assessments and interventions to meet the needs of teammates.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and practice within the scope of practice outlined in the written protocol
  • Provide patient education, health coaching, and patient health advocacy
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Monitors the effectiveness of interventions
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
  • Enter patient data into the EMR system accurately & promptly
  • Assist in all areas of the clinic, if needed
  • Perform related duties as required
Required Qualifications
  • Comfort and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, including both client and One to One leadership and members of the interdisciplinary team
  • A passion for helping people and a desire to realize One to One's goal of patient-first healthcare
  • A self-starter, energized by dynamic operations and a willingness to tackle a wide range of challenges
  • The desire and ability to lead with compassion
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to follow written step-by-step instructions
  • Ability to concentrate, think, and learn
  • Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push, and pull
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant with an active license, 1 year experience in family medicine, internal medicine or urgent care setting required
  • DEA license preferred
  • BLS Certified
