Job summary

EPIC PAIN AND ORTHOPEDICS, PLLC in Dallas-Fort Worth is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative pain management and orthopedic care team. You will conduct patient assessments, obtain histories, perform exams, order tests, and develop treatment plans.

You will manage follow-ups, educate patients, prescribe medications per protocols, document in the EHR, and participate in quality initiatives while coordinating care with physicians.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of Texas, with active prescriptive authority or eligibility.
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, musculoskeletal medicine, or related specialties, or strong interest in developing expertise in these areas.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and evidence-based treatment planning skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patients and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, patient-centered care and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program; relevant board certification (e.g., FNP, ANP, AGNP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Role Description
