Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited NP program.
• Current, unrestricted Florida NP/APRN license.
• Current national board certification appropriate to the patient population (FNP, AGPCNP, AGACNP, PNP, etc.).
• Minimum 2-4 years of direct patient-care NP experience.
• Relevant clinical experience in hematology/sickle cell disease; oncology or outpatient infusion; internal medicine; pain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive sickle cell patient care, including evaluation, treatment, medications, labs, and referrals.
• Oversee infusions and procedures, monitor patients, and respond to emergencies.
• Support patient follow-up, education, engagement, and continuity of care.
• Serve as the on-site clinical lead, supporting staff, patient flow, and clinic readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality, safety, compliance and teamwork.
