Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state of employment.
• DEA license preferred.
• ANCC or AANP certification required or preferred as noted.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience in orthopedic care is a plus.
• Experience in physiatry is a plus.
• Experience in skilled nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to determine rehabilitation goals and interventions.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes and promote independence.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in electronic medical records.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding the rehabilitation process, outcomes, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Actively licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of employment
• Current Controlled Substance License preferred
• Current DEA License preferred
• ANCC or AANP certification
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Experience in orthopedic care is a plus
• Experience in physiatry is a plus
• Experience in skilled nursing is a plus
