AdventHealth West Florida invites an experienced APRN to join our outpatient Neurosurgery team in Tampa. You will assess, diagnose and manage complex neuro conditions, while providing patient education and coordinating care across disciplines.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic setting. A Master’s in Nursing and BLS are required, with Critical Care and Cardiac Testing background preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and APRN licensure required.
• 2+ years in Critical Care required; 1+ in Cardiac Testing preferred.
• APRN certification and BLS required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions in outpatient neurosurgery.
• Provide patient education and disease prevention guidance.
• Collaborate with clinicians to coordinate care and mentor staff.

Job Description Summary:

Provides comprehensive, high-quality, and patient-centered healthcare services within an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves independent and collaborative practice in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic health conditions, health promotion, and disease prevention for a diverse patient population, all while upholding AdventHealth's mission and values.
