Job summary

Pivotal Health in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Sleep Medicine to join a collaborative outpatient practice. This onsite role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call, evenings, or weekends, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while delivering meaningful patient care across Mid-M Michigan communities.

You will evaluate and manage sleep disorders, develop individualized sleep plans including CPAP therapy, and work with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Current Michigan NP or PA license with board certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care abilities.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Diagnose and manage sleep disorders including OSA, narcolepsy, insomnia, and RLS.
• Interpret patient histories and assess treatment effectiveness.
• Develop individualized care plans including CPAP therapy and medication management.
• Educate patients on sleep health, treatment compliance, and lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and clinical staff across multiple locations.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Uphold all clinical, regulatory, and quality standards.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our clinical team, you will:

  • Narcolepsy
  • Insomnia
  • Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
• Interpret patient histories and assess treatment effectiveness
• Develop individualized care plans, including CPAP therapy and medication management
• Educate patients on sleep health, treatment compliance, and lifestyle modifications
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and clinical staff across multiple locations

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Board Certification
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care abilities
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Sleep Medicine experience
• Experience in Pulmonary, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Neurology, or related specialties
