Job summary

Vascular Centers of America in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our vascular clinic. You will serve as the primary provider and manage a high-volume patient population.

Qualifications

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner license required.
• Certification from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, etc.)
• Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for vascular and knee pain conditions.
• Conduct focused physical assessments and develop treatment plans following established clinical protocols
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including vascular ultrasounds and other imaging studies
• Identify patients requiring procedural intervention and collaborate with physicians regarding treatment planning
• Provide pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up care
• Educate patients regarding vascular disease, risk factor modification, medications, and lifestyle changes
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and efficient EMR documentation
• Work collaboratively with ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, and clinical staff in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and workflow standards

Requirements:
