Job summary

Vascular Centers of America, an outpatient vascular clinic, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for its Southfield, MI location to serve as the primary provider for a high-volume patient population.

The role offers a competitive salary of $130,000-$155,000 annually plus bonus potential, with benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401(k) with Match, 3 Weeks PTO + Holidays, and Life Insurance. Travel to Michigan and New York locations is required for training.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan NP license required.
• Certification from an accredited NP program (FNP/AGACNP/ACNP).
• Minimum 1 year NP experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Willingness to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for vascular and knee pain conditions.
• Conduct focused physical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including vascular ultrasounds and imaging.
• Identify patients requiring procedural intervention and collaborate with physicians.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure evaluations and follow-up care.
• Educate patients on vascular disease, risk factors, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Work with ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, and staff in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and workflow standards.

We are a fast-paced and team-oriented focused on delivering efficient, high-quality patient care while creating growth opportunities for our employees.

We are currently seeking an intelligent and motivated Nurse Practitioner for our Southfield location.

Our Nurse Practitioner will serve as the primary provider, managing a high-volume patient population.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in learning outpatient vascular medicine.

Travel to our Michigan and New York locations is required for training.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for vascular and knee pain conditions.

• Conduct focused physical assessments and develop treatment plans following established clinical protocols

• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including vascular ultrasounds and other imaging studies

• Identify patients requiring procedural intervention and collaborate with physicians regarding treatment planning

• Provide pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up care

• Educate patients regarding vascular disease, risk factor modification, medications, and lifestyle changes

• Maintain accurate, thorough, and efficient EMR documentation

• Work collaboratively with ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, and clinical staff in a high-volume outpatient setting

• Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and workflow standards

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Nurse Practitioner license required

• Certification from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, etc.)

• Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Comfortable managing medically complex patients

• Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and organizational skills

• Tech-savvy with strong EMR/documentation skills

• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

• Willingness to travel for training
