Columbia University’s Department of Psychiatry seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) at NYP/CUIMC in a full-time capacity. The role supports adult psychiatry with diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacologic care in a fast-paced ED setting.
The team includes attendings, residents, RNs, social workers, and a recreation therapist. Three 12-hour daytime shifts are typical.
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a full-time position to work within the division of Adult Psychiatry in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program. This position will support the department by providing clinical care within the New York Presbyterian Hospital at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
The CPEP is staffed with Psychiatric Attendings, Residents, Registered nurses, students, licensed social workers, a recreation therapist, and admission personnel; a vibrant team where professional peer support and supervision is also a priority. A typical work week would include three 12-hour daytime shifts.
