Job summary

WhiteCap Search is seeking a committed healthcare professional to deliver comprehensive care to adult patients in Midtown Manhattan. You will manage acute and chronic conditions and provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Buprenorphine therapy, within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will hold NY NP licensure, have HIV/AIDS management experience, and be proficient with EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and CMEs/CEUs.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered as a New York Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in primary care and HIV/AIDS management, harm reduction, and Buprenorphine treatment.
• Current DEA registration and CPR certification.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge.
• Maintenance of CMEs/CEUs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for adult patients.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the primary care setting.
• Provide MAT, including Buprenorphine therapy.
• Assess patient conditions, set treatment goals, and prescribe interventions.
• Document findings, plans, and progress in EHR.

Job Function

• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations for adult patients.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the primary care setting.
• Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Buprenorphine therapy.
• Assess patient conditions, set treatment goals, and prescribe appropriate interventions.
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress in electronic health records (EHR).
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making.
• Coordinate medical consultations and patient transfers as necessary.

Requirements

• New York State licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in Primary Care, HIV/AIDS management, harm reduction, and Buprenorphine treatment.
• Certification in Nursing practice or expertise in HIV/AIDS medicine.
• Preferred experience with electronic health records.
• Visual and auditory acuity for medical procedures and patient interaction.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
• Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and Infection Control certification.
• Maintenance of required CMEs/CEUs.
