Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat ENT conditions such as sinusitis, ear infections, hearing issues, and throat disorders.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (imaging, labs, audiology reports).
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
  • Perform in-office procedures (nasal endoscopy, cerumen removal, minor procedures).
  • Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with ENT physicians on complex cases and surgical planning.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR system.
  • Participate in follow-up care and ongoing patient management.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.

Description

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with ear, nose, and throat conditions. Knowledge of medical documentation standards including ICD-10, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance is required. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of ENT-related conditions in both outpatient and procedural settings. Requirements
Education/Certification
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., FNP, AGNP)
Licensure
