Job summary

MEDIKO is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care in a correctional facility in Lynnwood, WA. The role includes assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescribing medications, procedures, and chronic disease management, with documentation and education of patients.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliant, patient-centered care and maintain medical records per facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active state NP license (or applicable clinical license)
• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate NP program completion
• Minimum 3-5 years clinical practice; correctional/underserved setting preferred
• Active CPR/BLS certification (AHA/American Red Cross)

Title: Nurse PractitionerLocation: Lynwood Jail, Lynnwood, WAStatus: Part Time. 20 hours a week divided into two 10 hour days.Salary: $140 an hourJob Summary:The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality medical care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education. This role will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery and will prescribe medications, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will also maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.Qualifications:A current, valid, and unrestricted state license, certification, and/or credential authorizing practice in the applicable clinical role (e.g., MD, DO, DDS, DMD, NP, etc.) is required.
