Overview

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner / Health Center Manager for a full-time opportunity in Jackson, CA. This role combines hands‑on patient care with leadership responsibilities, overseeing daily clinic operations, staff management, workflow efficiency, infection control, and quality initiatives in a clinical setting. This position offers a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, a stable weekday schedule, and on‑site childcare for added convenience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
• Oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff).
• Allocate time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
• Monitor patient flow, patient utilization and penetration.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determine root cause analysis.
• Serve as infection control lead, collaborate on quality initiatives and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Communicate corporate policies, conduct meetings, and engage with client representatives.
• Complete incident reports and assist with investigations and complaint resolutions.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Primary care, urgent care, occupational health, emergency room, or experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• At least 2 years of NP experience required, prior management experience preferred.
• Active BLS from AHA or willing to obtain it post‑offer.
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for infection prevention practices preferred.
