Job summary

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to work with one of TOC's orthopaedic sports surgeons in Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur locations on a rotational basis. The role is office and surgical-based with minimal call and weekend obligations, requiring Alabama licensure.

Responsibilities include managing acute and chronic sports injuries, running clinics, ordering tests, reviewing results, documenting in the EMR, and assisting in surgery.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with First Assist, licensed to practice in Alabama.

The Orthopaedic Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to work directly with one of TOC's established, board-certified orthopedic sports surgeon. This is an office and surgical-based position with a typical five-day work week, working in our Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur office locations on a rotational basis. Minimal call duties and weekend obligations. Candidate must be licensed to practice in Alabama.

The Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and manage acute and chronic sports and activity-related injuries, focusing on shoulders, elbows, and knees. Responsibilities include running concurrent and independent clinics, referring for diagnostic treatments and tests, ordering and reviewing lab results, evaluating X‑Ray, CT scan, and MRI results, providing clear, concise, and accurate information in the EMR, and assisting in surgery.

Qualifications

• Education required: HS/GED.
• License: Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with First Assist, licensed to practice in Alabama.
