Nurse Practitioner - Fort Myers, FL
Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an Intensive Outpatient Program and Partial Hospitalization Program in Fort Myers, FL. This unit is a 6 to 15 beds mental health program. Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, the NP will provide clinical services to the behavioral health program and is primarily responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, and providing continuing education to patients and their families according to approved protocols. The NP will assess patients by examining medical history, performing physical exams and behavioral health evaluations, and ordering or performing diagnostic tests within the bounds of scope of practice as delineated by federal and state regulations/guidelines.
