Brown University Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide urgent care services at our Providence, RI location. You will assess and treat patients 18 months and older, order tests, manage medications, and perform minor procedures in a fast-paced setting.
The role requires strong communication, leadership abilities, and a current RI license (or eligibility) with BLS certification.
SUMMARY: Reports to the Medical Director and the Director of Operations; will provide compassionate and excellent patient care by performing courteous, efficient, and accurate service. Assists with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. Mentors clinical personnel, and serves as a liaison with patients, staff, providers, and leadership. Can perform independently and as part of a treatment team.
