Job summary

Mahajan Therapeutics, a division of BayMark Health Services, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Dayton, OH clinic on a part-time schedule (4 days/week). The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, manage recovery pathways, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to reduce barriers to care and monitor patient progress.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of MAT/addiction medicine experience, is board-certified in addiction medicine (ANCC or AANP), and is licensed

Qualifications

• MAT/Addiction medicine treatment experience (minimum 6 months).
• Board certification with the ANCC or AANP in addiction medicine.
• OH state licensure and ability to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to interact compassionately with a diverse population.

Responsibilities

• Patient-Centered Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and design personalized treatment plans.
• Progressive Monitoring: Document milestones and adjust care plans with leadership and clinic directors.
• Counseling & Education: Educate patients on treatment options, medications, and adherence.
• Advocacy: Address physical, emotional, and mental health aspects to support recovery and quality of life.

The Opportunity & Impact

As a Nurse Practitioner at our Dayton clinic, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care and continuity of treatment. You will have the clinical autonomy to manage patient recovery pathways while collaborating closely with an experienced, multidisciplinary clinic team to decrease barriers to care and monitor patient progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient-Centered Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, history of present illness (HPI) assessments, and design personalized treatment plans for individuals navigating recovery and mental health disorders.
• Progressive Monitoring: Document and track patient milestones, adjusting care plans seamlessly in collaboration with clinical leadership and clinic directors.
• Empowerment & Education: Counsel patients on their treatment journey, helping them understand their progress, and provide essential health education regarding medication management and compliance.
• Advocacy: Act as a compassionate guide, addressing the physical, emotional, and mental health aspects of substance use and behavioral health disorders to help patients achieve long-term stability and an improved quality of life.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 6 months of MAT/Addiction medicine treatment experience.
• Board certification with the ANCC or AANP in addiction medicine.
• Must be licensed in the State of OH.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
