Job description

The Opportunity

Lesley University is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct primary healthcare to college students. The NP will evaluate, treat, refer, and follow up on student health concerns, deliver preventive services, provide health education and outreach, and support the public health of the university community. The role includes triage, urgent issue management, maintaining accurate medical records, consulting with colleagues and specialists, supporting administrative operations, and participating in key university events. The position is full‑time, on‑site, and reports to the Director of Student Health Services.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ANP) with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Certified to practice independently in the state of Massachusetts with controlled substances license and US DEA prescription authority, or eligibility for the same.
• Experience working with adolescents and young adults or in a college or school health setting.
• Strong interest in preventive care and health education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and team orientation in a small, cohesive office environment.

Base Pay Range: $101,887 - $115,780 annually
