Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Critical Care- Nursing Practice Specialist to provide expert nursing leadership and to integrate scientific underpinnings of practice with quality improvement and systems thinking. The role requires a Doctorate of Nursing Practice and at least five years of nursing experience, with NC RN licensure and BCLS in place.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Nursing Practice and five or more years of nursing experience.
• Experience in process improvement preferred.
• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• BCLS certification required.
• Nursing certification within one year of hire.

Responsabilités

• Integrate nursing science with ethics, biophysical, psychosocial, analytical, and organizational sciences as the basis for advanced practice.
• Lead care delivery and quality improvement initiatives for patient populations.
• Develop and evaluate evidence-based practice initiatives with Research and Nursing Quality teams.
• Design, select, use, and evaluate health care information systems and patient care technology.
• Advocate for health policy and promote social justice, equity, and ethical healthcare policies.
