Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Certification from foreign nursing schools may be required for graduates of foreign schools.
• Current, active nursing license in a U.S. state or territory is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop patient safety plans and analyze safety culture and performance data.
• Track corrective actions and facilitate patient safety committees.
• Implement quality-improvement activities using PDSA and process mapping.
• Prepare draft reports and briefing materials on patient safety program status.
• Review and analyze patient safety events, including adverse events and near misses.
