Job summary

Shore Regional Health is seeking a frontline operational leader to oversee shift-level operations and team performance. You will partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure operational excellence, staff engagement, and patient outcomes for an assigned area.

This role supports delivering high-quality patient care, collaborates on clinical operations, and emphasizes safety, professional development, and continuous improvement within the UMMS system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. If bachelor's degree is not in nursing, graduate degree must be in nursing.
• RN licensure in Maryland or eligibility due to compact state agreements.
• Three (3) years of clinical experience required.
• Advanced certification within 3 years (e.g., NE-BC, CEN, PCCN).
• ACLS, BLS and/or other certifications to match patient populations served.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift-level operations and team performance.
• Partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure operational excellence, staff engagement, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborates and manages clinical operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Fosters a culture of safety, professionalism and continuous improvement.
• Functions as a leadership pathway position preparing future clinical leaders.
