Qualifications

• BSN degree required; if a bachelor's is not in nursing, graduate degree must be in nursing.
• Maryland RN licensure required or eligibility for licensure due to compact state agreements.
• Three (3) years of previous clinical experience required.
• Advanced certification within three (3) years of assuming the position (e.g., NE-BC, CEN, PCCN).
• ACLS, BLS or other certifications appropriate to patient populations served.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline operational leader for shift-level operations and team performance.
• Partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure operational excellence, staff engagement, and patient outcomes.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate on clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee onboarding, performance management, and succession planning; develop emerging leaders.
