Job summary

Extivita in Durham, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nutritional IV therapy and hyperbaric support within a patient-centered, faith-guided care model. The RN will collaborate with our NP and LPN to oversee clinical care, ensure safety, and deliver compassionate, professional service.

The role requires strong IV and hyperbaric therapy skills, excellent communication, and dedication to documenting and coordinating care across the clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• IV therapy experience.
• Hyperbaric therapy experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient with computer systems and charting.

Responsibilities

• Initiate IVs and prepare nutrient bags per protocol.
• Monitor vitals and patient comfort; document therapies.
• Assist in preparing and operating the hyperbaric chamber.
• Support safety standards and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate with NP and LPN to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist with administrative tasks (check-in/out, scheduling, charting).
