Job summary

ThedaCare in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking an RN Clinical House Supervisor to lead nursing teams on the 12-hour night shift, ensuring patient-centered, evidence-based care across the continuum and coordinating with medical staff to maintain safety and quality.

The role requires BSN or commitment to obtain BSN, Wisconsin RN license, BLS and ACLS, plus several years of clinical experience and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree, or commitment to obtain BSN within five years
• Current Wisconsin RN license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Three years of clinical experience
• Two years leading projects, a council/committee, or clinical improvement work

Responsibilities

• Oversee acute patient care resource allocation, unit operations, and patient flow to promote safety and satisfaction.
• Serve as a role model for organizational service standards, mission, vision, and values.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure service availability and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate practice alerts, policy changes, and educational opportunities to the team.
• Provide accurate hand-offs and reports to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
