Job summary

ThedaCare seeks an RN Clinical House Supervisor for Appleton Regional Medical Center. The role is a night shift (12-hour) overseeing patient care and operations, ensuring safe patient flow, and coordinating inter-facility transfers.

You will lead with ThedaCare values, partner with physicians and staff, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required or plan to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current Wisconsin RN license active and in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience.
• Two years leading projects, councils or clinical improvement work.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of patient care resource allocation, unit operations and patient flow to promote safety and satisfaction.
• Model organizational service standards and guide teams in line with ThedaCare mission and values.
• Support staff in understanding how daily work aligns with ThedaCare strategy.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure service availability and effective care delivery.
• Participate in committees and leadership meetings to support strategic planning.
• Communicate alerts, policy changes and education during rounds and rounds-to-bed huddles.
• Respond to emergencies and facilitate escalation as needed for patient care.
• Coordinate inter-facility transfers and ensure smooth handoffs and continuity.
