Qualifications

• 5+ years RN experience in an Hospital and/or ASC
• 2+ years orthopedic and spine experience
• At least three years of health education experience
• Active RN license as required by Texas
• BLS certification
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient engagement from pre-op to post-op care.
• Educate and advocate for patients and families throughout care.
• Act as liaison coordinating care with multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor quality measures and reduce readmissions when possible.
• Assess patient needs during preadmission via phone interview.
