Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health at Jersey Shore University Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 5 years in a surgical nursing specialty and quality background. You will work with physicians, APNs, patients and families to deliver high-quality care and ensure accurate documentation.

Required NJ RN license and AHA BLS HCP certification; BSN preferred and national certification welcomed. Excellent organizational and independent-work capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a licensed school of nursing.
• RN with at least 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant clinical specialty (surgical nursing and quality background).
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong organizational, time management and RN problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with physicians and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a surgical nursing specialty with emphasis on quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, APNs, patients and families to plan and deliver care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with nursing standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
