Job summary

Mercy Orthopedic Hospital in Ozark, Missouri seeks a PRN Nurse Navigator to coordinate care across the continuum and support patients and families. The role collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment and compassionate care.

Graduate nurses with an active RN license and BLS are required; a master's in nursing is preferred. Two years of nursing experience are required, with opportunities for education and professional growth within Mercy.

The Navigator coordinates with an advanced level of clinical expertise, all aspects of treatment and care for, and in collaboration with, Mercy's patients, their family and significant others, physicians, interdisciplinary team, and other support staff. Minimum Requirements:

Required Education:

Graduate from a school of nursing is required.

Preferred Education:

Advanced Practice/master's degree in nursing is preferred.

Required Experience:

2 years nursing experience is required.

Preferred Experience:

• Formal patient education and community educational presentations
• Support group facilitation

Licensure:

Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in state of practice is required.

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days of hire is required.
